Commercial concrete batching plant is mainly composed of mixing system,aggregate supply system, weighing system,central control system and external matching equipment.

i)Mixing system
According to the mixing method, the mixing system is divided into forced mixing and self - stirring.At present,forced concrete mixer is the mainstream of concrete batching plant. It can mix flow, semi-dry and dry-hard concrete.Self loading concrete mixer is mainly used for mixing flow concrete. But it is rarely used in concrete batching plant. Compulsory concrete mixer mainly have planetary concrete mixer, single horizontal shaft concrete mixer and twin shaft concrete mixer. And the twin-shaft concrete mixer's comprehensive performance is the best.

ii)Aggregate supply system
   Aggregate supply system is mainly composed of three parts:
   Aggregate conveyor: Hopper lifting and belt conveyor.The advantages of hopper lifting is that it covers a small area and simple in structure. The advantages of the belt conveyor are high transmission distance, high efficiency and low failure rate.
   Powder conveying.The powder of concrete are mainly cement, fly ash and slag.At present, screw conveyor is the widely way of powder conveying. Some large concrete batching plant adopt pneumatic conveying and scraper conveying.The advantages of the screw conveyor are simple structure, low cost and reliable.
   Liquid conveying mainly refers to the water and liquid admixture, they are delivered by the pump respectively.

iii)Metering system.
   Metering system is the key part of the concrete quality and production cost, which is divided into three parts: aggregate weighing, powder weighing and liquid weighing.
iv)Central control system
   Central control system of concrete batching plant is the central nervous system of the whole set of equipment. According to the requirements of different users and the size of concrete batching plant, Control system have different function and preparation. In general construction site,control system of small concrete batching plant is simple, and large concrete batching plant is relatively complicated.
v) External matching equipment
   Water pipe, gas path and storage bins.
